It's small but powerful. Or at least that's how I was raised.
With voter machine fraud and this week's allegations of missing registrations, it would be easy to give into cynicism and stay home. But I choose to push past all that and show up. Vote. Trust that anyone gaming the system will be caught. Get informed, not just about candidates, but issues, including issues surrounding the voting system itself. Pray. Not because God favors one party over another (He doesn't) but because He's the only one over the entire process. Go. Because it's interesting and exciting to be part of the process. And because there are still people crazy enough to throw their hat -- their passions, their money, their lives -- into this nasty, bickering, imperfect ring.
Mid-term elections are a week from today. Get informed. And vote anyway.
